Allium Garden Design was formed by Ellie Buckett in 2006 after working as Head Designer for The Garden Designer Ltd in Steyning. She has since worked as an in house designer for Designscape UK Ltd in Cranleigh and organised their exhibition stands at consumer shows like Grand Designs Live, The Ideal Home Show and Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
Ellie gained her Diploma in Garden Design from Kingston University in 2004. She worked for Stone Garden Design in Surrey and the world renowned Tendercare Nurseries, near Uxbridge, where she picked up a wealth of landscaping and plant knowledge. Ellie then went on to achieve a distinction in her Royal Horticultural Society General Certificate in 2006.
Before embarking on her career in design Ellie received a 2:1 Hons Degree in Environmental Biology from Royal Holloway University of London. This provided a great scientific background on which to base her botanical and horticultural knowledge.
